Colt Police Positive Special (Third Issue), Cal. Description: The Colt Police Positive Special (Third Issue) was made from 1947 to 1976. The 6-shot revolvers were fitted with either a 4, 5, or 6 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips with silver Colt medallions, blue or nickel finished, and were chambered in .38 Special. This Colt serial # dates to 1969 and has seen little use / wear.
