Description:
Custom stocked pre 64 model 70 standard 243.Built in 1959,this rifle has been restocked with a very nice piece of American walnut.The metal is original and retains 99% of the original blue.The stock is checkered with fluer and ribbon checkering and does not have a mark on it.I do not know who did the stock work,but it is well executed.The bore is mint and the bolt has been jeweled.The rifle comes with a Leupold 3.5x10x50 vari-x IIi scope installed.A great rifle set up and readly to shoot.C&R eligible.
