Description:
This a very nice Smith & Wesson Model 59 in 9MM Luger with a bobbed hammer. The Model 59 is the same as the Model 39 with the exception that the Model 59 is a 14 shot rather than 8. The Model 39/59 was the first semi-auto pistol Smith & Wesson designed for the U.S. military. The blued frame is aluminum, while the slide is steel and are in very good condition with minor handling marks on the factory black plastic grips.The stainless steel 4" barrel is very good with clean sharp rifling. This 'old school' Smith & Wesson pistol was produced from 1972 through 1981. This is a very nice pistol to add to your collection of 'black' guns. No box or accessories.
