Payment Types Accepted: Money Order Description: 1918 German Luger P08 WWI-Berlin Police-WWII Nazi Germany Manufactured during WW I by DWM. Used by the German Army until the end of the war. The Luger then saw service by the Berlin Police Department from late 1918 until transferred to the Nazi Army in 1936. The barrel has a Weimar E/ArA4 acceptance stamp and a Spandau Arsenal E/Su18 proof stamp. The front grip strap is stamped S.B.M.III.2.63 The grip strap conforms to the April 1922 Schutzpolizei marking instructions indicating that the gun was issued to the barracked (militarized) branch of the Berlin Schupo. The other grip markings indicate the property stamp was revised in 1932 and remained with the barracked Schupo through their transfer to the Nazi Army in 1936. The gun was used as manufactured from 1936 and the early years of WWII by the Nazi Army and rebuilt by Nazi Germany in the Spandau Arsenal in 1942 as indicated by a Third Reich German Army Test Proof and the S/42 Mauser Luger Toggle Assembly WWII Nazi.
