Description:
For those interested, every revolver imported must meet certain point qualifications and the Taurus 2 inch revolvers don't, so they import the guns with an integral extension on the barrel to meet the points required, and after they are imported Taurus cuts the barrel and re-crowns it. This example is one that came from a Taurus distributor just as you see it - in other words a lazy employee said the hell with it and packaged it even though it had not been converted. I'm sure they would like to have it back but it is an oddity that has value to a Taurus collector just the way it is. I'm quite surprised they let it out of the importer's location without being altered. Certainly an oddity and not your average model 856.
