Description:
Handsome and unique Winchester Model 21 Trap 12 gauge with very highly figured custom walnut stock and beavertail forearm. It has 30” vent rib barrels with Modified and Full chokes. Outstanding condition and really nice wood. Crisp checkering. Bluing is very good plus. Serial number is 17628. *** The 30” barrels have a white mid-bead and a white Brady style front sight. Shiny bores. The barrels are topped by a raised ventilated crosshatched rib and are chambered for 2-3/4” shotshells. The barrels are marked Improved Modified and Full chokes but the Right barrel has been opened to Light Modified(0.016”). The Left barrel is unchanged at 0.038”. *** The pistol grip stock has a 1” brown recoil pad and a roll over comb. Checkering on stock and forearm is crisp. There are only a few handling marks on the wood. Stock dimensions are 14-5/8” over a 1” recoil pad by 1-1/2 Drop at Comb by 1-3/4” Drop at Monte Carlo by 2-3/8” drop at Heel. Neutral cast. *** Weight is 8lb 13oz. With its roll over comb and weight this is a very comfortable gun to shoot for long sessions of trap or with heavy loads at the pigeon rings. *** There are lots of 21’s out there but not many in this outstanding condition.
