<<<<SOLD>>>>> A shooter grade this Winchester Model 42 takedown has a factory 23" barrel , and mirror clean shiny bore with a choke of rare MOD. and exterior has a dull blue wearing to grey on top of the breech frame and breech of the barrel , possibly could have been re-blued? Two screws on the side plate left side look not original, but are available. The original grooved American walnut forend has a stress crack but it's solid as the stock also has stress cracks on each side flats behid the breech end of the frame, but still solid.. so this is a shooter grade , not investment grade. if you want a very good pump .410 for reasonable money this is it! Has what appears to be the original Winchester black hard rubber butt-plate with a LOP of about 14 1/2". The SN 558XX is matching. Year made is 1947 right after the war and normal production started again.Shipping may be higher than stated as shippers raise their prices twice year without notice! When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
