Description:
Original WW2 Colt 1911A1 Very Early British Lend Lease in excellent condition, original finish . This is a very early British Lend Lease pistol, usually Lend Lease Colts fall into a later serial number range. Also, this could have been a vet bring back as it doesn't have the "standard" Released British Govt. (year) marking on the right side of the slide.
Original finish, original USGI barrel that is British proofed as it's supposed to be, frame and slide are British proofed, all matching, not import marked, no rust or pitting on metal, no cracks on grips, great bore, functions fine. Finish loss is mostly on the front strap.
