L.C. Smith 20 Ga shotgun. Hunter Arms Co. 20 Ga. Length of pull 14”. Bores are excellent. Length is 28”. Chokes are full and improved cylinder. The barrel has 100% original blue. The frame has 100% bright original case colors. Trigger guard has 100% original blue. The buttstock was cut very short (probably for a child). The stock has added wood at the cut and is spliced back to a 14” length of pull. Good splice repair. The forend has 100% original varnish. The buttstock has been revarnished. So, the end result is we have a top notch condition 20 Ga. L.C. Smith. The buttstock works ok for a hunter or shooter. This would be great for a collector if you find an excellent or mint L.C. Stock for any 20 Ga. Beautiful gun with buttstock problem. Note: this L.C. Smith has extractors not ejectors. These would be a $3000 to $3500 gun if not for the buttstock. Priced very reasonably at $2250.
