US Model 1841 Robbins & Lawrence 54 caliber Mississippi rifle with original bayonet. Full length unsanded walnut stock has good color with minimal dents, there are cracks pictured in the photos on the bottom near the front of the trigger guard and the left side plate which appears to have been repaired. There are also two cartouches on the left flat. Full length barrel has original sights a light brown patina. The bayonet attachment has been removed in the past. The brass butt plate is marked US. All brass has a uncleaned mellow patina. Both sling swivels and ramrod are present. The lock is marked Robbins & Lawrence Windsor, Vt. 1850. A very nice Mississippi rifle with bayonet.
