US Springfield Model 1873 Trapdoor 45-70 Carbine. This is a true carbine not a cut down rifle. Walnut carbine stock has not been sanded or refinished and is in fine condition with few dents. 22 inch barrel has a smooth grey brown patina and correct front and c marked rear sights. Breach block is marked US Model 1873 and is tight and functions as it should. Lock is marked us Springfield 1873 with the American eagle and functions as it should. Trapdoor butt plate is marked US.
