US Model 1795 Springfield Flintlock 69 caliber musket dated 1810 on the lock and butt plate. This gun I believe has not been reconverted. This is what I believe to be a type 3 1795 Springfield war of 1812 era Musket. The full length walnut stock has nice Springfield color, AH initials on butt stock and has a couple of slivers and chips missing between the middle and top bands. The metal is a smooth dark blue black color. The lock is marked US Springfield (faint) 1810 and functions as it stood. The butt plate plate is marked 1810. Both sling swivels are missing.
