This Inland M-1 Carbine .30Cal was mfg abt 7/43. It has all of the correct type WWII and a few late WWII type parts (Mag Catch). There are no arsenal or import markings.
The action is normal. The bore is clean and shows a good twist. The following parts make up this 1st Block Inland: The The Sling, Oiler & Magazine are for presentation only and not included.
Receiver - Narrow Tng, Round Mill Cut, Hole in Spg Hsg, Long hd Gd Lip, T3 - Retaining Lug, A Frt & Rear dismount notch, Recoil Plate - T3 w/"UM, Barrel - marked Inland div -GMC w/7/43". front Sight T1 w/"N", Barrel Skirt - "2/3", Bolt - T2 w/"A1", (including - T2 Firing Pin (RI), Extractor - T3 w"WI, Ejector - T1), Trig Hsg - T3 Hoz "Inland" Marking, Trigger - T2 w/ "HI", Sear - T2 w'"RI", Hammer - T2 "WDogleg 'HI", Safety - T2 , Mag Catch - T3 w/"M", Oper Slide - T2 /"PI", Stock - T# Low Wood w/"IO"
Barrel Band - T1A*, Butt Plate - T2.
Markings in the Sling - "IO", Cut and a lightly marked Cross Cannon Cartouche on the R - Side of the buttstock. It is in very good condition. The bore measures a ""2 1/2"
