Description:
Winchester model 1894 .38-55 with the very desirable 1/2 round 1/2 octagon 26” barrel. The bore is very good and the action is excellent. Equipped with the original sights that remain excellent. The top of the barrel is marked: Manufactured By The Winchester Repeating Arms Co. New Haven Conn U S A. The stock has a dent at the bottom corner next to the butt plate and a small crack at the top next to the butt plate. These are shown in the photos. The stock is solid and fully functional in spite of the damage. The serial number dates the gun to 1899. Much of the original bluing remains on the barrel and receiver. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped in a hard case via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
