Winchester Model 1886 Carbine .45-70 Caliber

Manufactured in 1897
Condition: 1886 in the very desirable .45-70 caliber. John Madl confirms that there were only 1,911 .45-70 Carbine ever produced.
90% toned barrel and tube blue with original front post and rear ladder sight.
The receiver is nickel patina color with some traces of grey clouds around the saddle ring.
The right side has 10% of some good colors. The forearm fits pretty good just a little low at the receiver.
The buttstock has a real good fit around the butt plate. It’s just a tiny bit low around the upper tang on the left and right sides but doesn’t distract from the carbine at all.
The Bore is 9.5 and is bright and shiny, the action is crisp.
