CASED Engraved BRITISH Antique PEPPERBOX Revolver
1840s 6-Shot Pepperbox Revolver with Multiple Accessories!
Here we present an antique British Percussion Pepperbox Revolver, made circa 1840 in Great Britain. This pepperbox is one of the larger that exist, featuring 6 shots of .38 caliber ball. It was meant to be worn on a belt for self-defense. The mechanism is double action only with a bar-shaped hammer on top. The flutes on the barrel cluster each have a British firing proof mark. The green felt-lined case contains an oiler, powder flask, loading rod, ball mold, key, nipple wrench, and cap tin.
The overall condition is very good. The case remains in great shape, along with the accessories. The pistol has smooth bores, dark with age. The action emains functional.
