Description:
This is a very nice Winchester Model 62A that dates to 1914. It is chambered in .22 Short, Long & Long rifle meaning that either of these may be used. The Model 62 Winchester was introduced in 1932 and continued through 1959 with a total of 412,000 having been made. An improvement was made in the locking system in 1939 and after that the Model was referred to as the Model 62A. The gun offered is the Model 62A and it remains in very good condition with just about all of its original factory bluing remaining. The extra nice grain pattern wood is excellent and shows minimal use. The gun cycles perfectly and the bore is excellent. I offer a three day non-firing inspection period and always want the buyer to be satisfied with their purchase. The gun will be packed correctly and shipped via FedEx Air with insurance to your FFL dealer in the continental United States for $55 (California is extra because I have to ship through my local dealer). This gun requires a C&R or FFL license for transfer. I ship the following day after the payment arrives and provide tracking information.
