This is a brand new unfired Marlin Model 308MX Lever Action Rifle (that's a Model 336 in caliber .308 Marlin Express) that has been equipped with a brand new Leupold VX-1 2-7x33mm Riflescope with a 4 plex reticle. Rifle has a 92 prefix serial number meaning manufacture in 2007 and also confirmed by the JM barrel marking - meaning it is a quality rifle made by Marlin prior to the takeover by Remington. Rifle is new and unused and there are boxes for the rifle and also the scope (scope box the wrong power but correct model). Original owner purchased this outfit for a hunt that never happened - rifle was never even sighted in. None finer!
