Description:
Here is a very cool vintage Smith and Wesson revolver that we just got in. This is a Smith and Wesson Model 28-2 "Highway Patrolman" chambered in .357 Magnum. Has a 6 inch barrel with a nice bore that has crisp rifling. Nice chambers. This gun was built in 1980 and is the more desirable version with the pinned barrel and recessed chamber cylinder. As you can see in the pictures, there is some finish wear but the bluing is still 65% or better. Has excellent timing and lockup with a smooth action. Target rear sight. Pachmayr rubber grips. These are excellent guns that will last a lifetime! Built on the larger N-Frame that was normally reserved for the "Dirty Harry" 44 mags, these guns being chambered in .357 Mag are very overbuilt for the cartridge.
