Very Rare Smith & Wesson Double Action .38-40 caliber revolver. Made pre-1898 but this gun was shipped in December of 1903. This gun is an exceedingly rare gun in .38-40 caliber with a total production of 276. The metal on this gun is a mostly dark patina with some blue in the protected areas. Grips are very good. This gun comes with a factory letter and was shipped to D.H. Jones and confirms all features. Very scarce sharp Smith & Wesson Double Action in .38-40.
