Description:
Colt SAA 1st Generation in .44-40. SN #182242. Mfg. in 1899. 4 3/4" replacement "Frontier" barrel with a very good bore. Metal is in excellent condition with no signs of pitting and the frame turning to a nice patina color. The custom hand carved Walnut grips are unique and in very good condition. Correct three serial numbers on frame,trigger and grip. Smooth action. Mechanically sound. Comes in a nice wooden display case.
