Description:
This Springfield rifle has a 1873 receiver however it is a 1884 model. It has the correct Buffington rear sight and the gun was made in 1887. There is a clear inspector mark on the bottom of the wrist. The stock has the average dings and scratches. All parts look original. The bore is very good with only a few light pits. "21" is stamped on the toe of the stock and on the left side of the stock, painted in red paint is "A", "42" and "14". Probably rack numbers.
Antique so no paperwork required.
