Description:
Italian made Zoli replica 1803 Harpers Ferry Rifle in 58 caliber. The originals were 54 caliber. Brass mounted with a brass patchbox. Case colored lock and a 35 inch half round, half octagon barrel. It is thought that this model of rifle were carried on the Lewis and Clark expedition. The gun shows no signs of ever being fired, however the frizen has been struck many times by flints. It has clean, as new three grove rifling. The lock is fitted with a flash shield to protect anyone standing beside the gun when it is fired.
