Description:
Stevens Model 44 in 25-20 Single Shot Caliber in nice condition with a heavy 26 inch half octagon barrel. The bore is very good with very light oxidation and very strong rifling. Crescent butt plate and no rear sight, but has a post peep sight on the wrist. The wood is clean with the minimum of scratches and dings. The action is tight and the leaver snaps shut. There is no finish left on the receiver. The pictures are part of the description, so look closely and use the zoom feature. I have included a 25-20 Single Shot Cartridge in some of the pictures.
