Description:
The Taurus® Model 44 is a robust, large-frame double-action revolver, with a 6-round cylinder capacity of .44 magnum or .44 Special. To tame recoil from magnum loads, the Model 44 comes with a factory ported barrel and a non-slip rubber grip. A full-lug ejector rod housing puts weight out front to minimize muzzle flip. All stainless steel construction necessitates minimal maintenance. A fully adjustable rear sight allows you to dial in loads of various bullet weights with precision accuracy. The Model 44 Double-Action Revolver utilizes the Taurus Security System® (TSS), enabling you to disable the weapon completely with the turn of a key. A transfer bar mechanism prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled fully to the rear.
