Description:
Very sharp example of the scarce 1895 lever gun in everlasting 30-06 caliber. S/N 419*** made in 1926. The bluing has been professionally restored using proper techniques and is in excellent 98% condition throughout. The wood furniture shows typical wear representative of a used but well cared for rifle. There has been a barrel band sling swivel stud and rear sling swivel stud added. The associated nylon sling and swivels are included.
24" Barrel. Mechanical function is great. The bore is decent with typical light frost and some slight roughness, but has very strong rifling with no visible pitting or other issues. Should make someone a very attractive and nostalgic shooter or collector.
