Description:
This antique Colt Navy is the 3rd model with the small trigger guard, 2nd year production.
Date of manufacture is 1852 serial #16365, 7 1/2 inch barrel.
It has matching numbers including cylinder and loading lever.
The timeing is spot on, locks up tight as anything.
The Grips are the original walnut and are beautiful with some dings on the bottom but no repairs or brakes.
The original wooden display box is an original Colt box that is not a copy of anykind it is
100% the real deal made in the 1850's, the Colt loading instructions are also 100% original.
In the display box are the Colt 36cal bullet mold marked Colt's patten also original take down tool.
Also a Colt Navy powder flask and a tin of percussion caps I do not have the key to the case.
I have to enfusise how rare the case is! It shows it actual age and dust and oil but other that that it is near Mint.
there are no repairs there is some wood shrikage but that's it.
The hinges are original and The screws are iron and not brass, only the originals have iron screws.
the copy's and fake are brass.
