From what I understand this is a 3rd model Brown Bess musket converted to percussion and reissued as the P-1839. Lock markings show the East India Company rampart Lion adopted in1808. Complete with brass furniture an 3 ramrod pipes. Also included is what appears to be the original ramrod and sling swivels. 39 inch barrel has a brown patina and the 75 caliber bore. Full length stock is in very good condition. Lock functions as it should.
