US Springfield model 1884 Springfield Trapdoor 45-70 caliber army rifle in fine unaltered condition. Full length dark walnut stock is in excellent condition with a strong 1889 cartouche and circle P and minor dents and handling marks. Metal condition is a dark blue turning brown in places. 1884 dated Breach block and tang still show case colors turning dark. This very nice unaltered rifle is correct and complete with sling swivels and cleaning rod. The bore is bright and shiny with good rifling. Shipping will be actual cost approximately $50.00.
