Marlin Model 1893 Rifle fitted with a 26 inch full octagon barrel, full length tube magazine, brass bead front sight, walnut forearm and stock which is fitted with a steel crescent butt-plate, blue finished with color case-hardened frame, bolt, lever, hammer, and butt-plate, and chambered in 38-55. This rifle is in fine original condition, retaining 80% original blue on the barrel and magazine tube, 30% original color case-hardened finish on the frame, lever and hammer, and the butt-plate has turned a silver patina. The forearm retains 50% original finish and the stock about 90% of its finish. The stock has a repair, just behind the upper tang and there is a small chip on the right side, just above the trigger. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, but there is some minor spotting throughout. The action is tight and functions perfectly. Nice old 1897 vintage Marlin Model 1893.
