**Sale Pending** Merkel 14-2.2 Safari Series Custom Double Rifle, Limited Edition in 3 calibers, this rifle is No. 14 of the .500 Nitro Express which was the largest caliber made, 10 lbs. 1 oz., 23 5/8" (60cm) octagonal barrels, machined 1/4 rib with one fixed and three folding leaves transitioning to flush flat rib and rising to a ramp front sight, breech end of barrels engraved in acanthus scroll, rib extension with greener cross-bolt fastener, ejectors, silver finish scalloped boxlock action profusely hand engraved in acanthus scroll work with bottom of the action having a gold elephant and "African Safari Series, No. 14" also in gold, double triggers with front trigger articulated, disc set strikers, non-automatic safety, trigger guard and forend release engraved, engraved steel grip cap, highly figured grade 5 Luxus European walnut stock, cheekpiece, sling mounts with front barrel mounted, 14 3/4" LOP over a pad, splinter forend. Excellent condition showing virtually no wear or use. Comes in original labeled box. A stunning rifle.
