Description:
This is an excellent original condition S&W Victory Model WWII .38 Special Revolver, and from the looks of it probably never issued until it was bought surplus years ago. It is excellent overall but does have one problem - a slight bulge and deep gauge on the interior of the barrel about half way down which is not visible from the outside. Revolver fires fine and one would never know unless they examined the inside of the barrel. However, because of this we have the gun priced at $395. instead of $695. where it would belong if the bore was perfect. There are new original Victory model barrels out there and I don't think it would be difficult or expensive to replace the barrel. In any event a very nice representative GI WWII revolver and in .38 Special and not .38 S&W like so many are.
