Description:
This is a very rare pistol since it is 1 of approximately 5,000 DWM Lugers that were made for the Royal Portuguese Army during the reign of Manuel II who ruled Portugal from 1908-1910. He was also the last Portuguese monarch as the monarchy was dissolved after the Revolution of 1910.
Excellent plus condition, about 97% original finish with minimal loss (mostly on high edges and hump on the side plate) with some dulling and thinning on front and back strap.
Crest of Manuel II "Royal Portuguese Crown over M2" is present on the top of the chamber (easy way to identify one of these Lugers), front toggle is stamped with DMW logo, extractor is marked "CARREGADA", and Portuguese triangle in a circle acceptance proof is present in several places.
All matching with matching serial numbers on frame, barrel, takedown latch, side plate, toggle links, grip safety, rear toggle, internal parts, and EVEN THE GRIPS.
Has original correct magazine with Portuguese triangle in a circle proof.
Please take a look at the pictures to see all the matching numbers, proofs, and overall condition of the gun.
All original, correctly has no stock lug, NOT import marked, no rust or pitting on metal, no cracks on grips, excellent bore, functions fine.

I'm not a dealer. I'm a private collector and I'm currently thinning out my collection. 3-6 months layaway is available. I accept personal checks, but due to the POLICY OF MY BANK it takes 7 business days from the day of the deposit for them to clear.
