Description:
This unfired Winchester was produced between Feb. and Nov. of 1944 as the carbine's serial number is 5,706,635. The carbine was bought from the NRA in the mid 1960's.
The barrel is correctly marked with the "W" and proof mark. It has the flat blued bolt. The push button safety is "M" coded.The straight hammer has the W Code with the seldom seen S the hammer.
The barrel bore and chamber are in mint condition. The original finish is fully intact on all of the original parts. The high wood oval cut stock is in very fine/new condition.
The stock and hand guard retain all of the original finish.
I'm thinking of getting a replica LeMat revolver to play with and may take one as part of the sell.
