US Springfield Model 1835/40 musket dated 1842, .69 caliber, original flintlock converted to percussion in the 1850's. Full length 3 band original unsanded walnut stock in very good condition, the left side has initials. The full length rifled barrel has turned a smooth brown patina marked vp eagle near the breach. Lock marked US Springfield 1842 and has turned brown with very light pitting. A very good civil war musket. Shipping will be actual cost approximately $50.00.
