BROWNING ~ 1885 LOW WALL .223 REM/5.56 24" OCTAGON BARREL... NEW .... UNFIRED....NO BOX , MFD between 1995 & 2000 (223 was discontinued in 2000) Here's a beauty! This is a Browning Model 1885 Low Wall that was modeled after the famous Winchester single-shot rifle. This rifle is chambered for the .223 Remington (and 5.56 Nato) and wears a slim 24" tapered octagon barrel without sights. The rifle is factory tapped . NO scope mounts or rings. The trigger is adjustable between 5 and 3-1/2 pounds pull weight. The walnut stock features a checkered pistol grip with factory sling studs & swivels, Browning buttplate, and schnable forend tip. Weight is 6-pounds, 13-ounces.. Condition is excellent,UNFIRED basically brand new, without the box. The original polished blue finish rates virtually 100% with no obvious wear...no scratches, no rust, no pitting. The beautiful stocks show very nice contrasting figure and are also pristine. . The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent as well. PLEASE VIEW ALL THE PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. PICTURES DON'T DO THIS STUNNING WEAPON JUSTICE.!
