Description:
Serial #60168, .22 LR, 29" target barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This rifle retains 95-97% of an overall, well-done reblued finish that has left the markings and proofs crisp and clear. Some minor freckling and pinprick pitting are scattered about, mainly on the barrel ahead of the forend. The breechblock has a few specks of darker freckling on the otherwise armory bright finish. The front sight is a Parker-Hale FS22 globe sight with four inserts (three are present in the brass container mounted to the underside of the forend) and a Parker-Hale No. 7 rear sight is installed. The pistol-grip buttstock and beavertail forend have been lightly sanded and refinished with a few small handling marks and blemishes scattered throughout. A target sling swivel is installed on the left rear of the forend, and sling eyelets are present at the nose of the forend, and underside of the barrel. This is a very good example of a well-made target rifle, and would make a nice addition to a collection. FFL or C&R
