WW1 WWI SMITH & WESSON MODEL 1917 U.S. PROPERTY .45 ACP CAL. 5 ½” REVOLVER. All original except the aftermarket plastic stag grips. Lanyard loop missing. Barrel stamped on underside ‘UNITED STATES PROPERTY” and on butt beneath the grip “U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917” with serial number. Retains approximately 95% original blue and most of the case colors on the hammer and trigger. Small patch of very fine salt & pepper on cylinder about the border of one flute. Excellent bore and perfect working order.
