Description:
Remington Model 1903 Military rifle stamped USN and P on Grip, RA-I 1942 on left stock near reciever. All factory marked items on rifle marked R. Barrel marked RA with single punched flaming bomb and 11-42. Rifle issued December, 1942. Front sight marked with flaming bomb on left side, R on right side. Front band marked with R. Barrel marked with R, single punch mark and 42. Reciever has Hatcher hole (dubbed the Hatcher Hole after Ordnance Officer Julian Hatcher, the Marines decided this procedure was to be done) placed on left side of reciever. Reciever imprinted with US REMINGTON MODEL 1903 3300743.
Rifle comes with cleaning kit in original holder within stock well.
Condition:
Stock is excellent with only one small chip near the right side of reciever. No other scratches, chips or dings. Barrel is shiny inside. Bluing on metal is 98%. Rifle functions completely and mechanically perfect.
Pre 1964 US 90% silver coins for payment is acceptable.
