Very interesting Winchester was used as an ammunition testing rifle at the factory. Caliber is 22 SHORT.26" inch Heavy .940" octagonal barrel. The bore is still bright, shniy, clean and rifled. Has about . 85% blue on frame and weat to high edges.. Barrel has about bright factory 93% blue . Rifle style steel buttplate.Front sightis dovetail and rear sight is Rocky Mountain type.. It shipped pout 1904 / The faxctory fitted American walnut wood is excellent and has what appears to be all original finish. Sn 956XX. Action is crips and strong, has rare two trigger .Not set triggers but target no creep triggers, as first trigger is compressed up to the back trigger , no travel , relaease is quick. like lowering the trigger pull.
