SALE PENDING on this Remington 1903 Bolt Action Custom Sporting Rifle in 30-06 SPRG. caliber.The barrel is a tapered 22" without sights marked 30:06 and a barrel maker which appears to be FGAIO'S (not sure). The metal is re-blued but in nice shape with a few marks here and there. I rate the blue and metal condition at 90%plus.The bore looks fine with very good rifling and quite shiny also.The serial number is 3153007. The stock is custom of Dark Walnut with a right hand cheek piece.It has a Rosewood grip cap and forend tip,.The stock has a White Line thin pad with a white spacer. The stock has been carved with a Oak Leaf type pattern with a Running Buck Deer on the right side stock. There are no cracks in the stock. Swivel studs are intact. The floor plate also has a Oak Leaf Pattern with a Running Buck Deer.The stock is in very nice condition with a very few minor marks rated at 95%.The rifle is fitted with a vintage Redfield Scope in 3-9X with a Duplex Reticle. The scope is clear and in great condition but missing the elevation cap. The action is tight and all appears to function perfectly. The fellow I purchased it from stated it is a great shooter and very accurate. I will ship to a FFL within the Continental US for $35.00. Shipping to AK,HI and CA is extra.
