Description:
Winchester Model of 1876 Sporting Rifle .45-60wcf. The serial number of this example is 362XX Placing date of manufacture in 1882-83. This Rifle was sold through Browning Brothers Ogden, Utah and is roll die engraved on the top flat of the barrel behind the rear sight. Overall condition is excellent with 90-95% of the original untouched rust blue toning 40-50% plum gorgeous untouched rifle. The bore is near perfect and well cared for. The bore has strong rifling and shine from breech to muzzle. The bore will rate a 9 on a 1 to 10 scale. The Brass Follower is untouched with a very nice Mustard Marbled patina, just the way we like them! Wood to metal fit is perfect with 95% of the original untouched factory varnish.
