Winchesters Model of 1886 Sporting Rifle Special Order .45-90, 1/2 Octagon, Button magazine. The serial number of this example is 35055 placing date of manufacture in 1889. Overall condition is very good with the Barrel mostly an even plum / blue patina. The bore is very good with strong Rifling and shine from breech to muzzle. The bore will rate an 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. The Case Hardened Receiver is Silvered out with no Case Colors observed. Wood to metal fit is perfect with no breaks, cracks or slivers missing.
