SOLD A good example of a fairly priced 1873 dated rifle, with a 32 1/2" barrel, and a super clean , shiny, rifled bore better than most I've seen over the years. Tje exterior metal is turned to brown patina and the action works well, and apppears to be a complete gun, any cartouche was long worn off, as the American walnut stock is darkened with age as many went west in the Indian Wars and others were re-issued for the Span-Am War.Correct rear sight, as wel as the front sight, and all the barrel bands..Could use a thorough cleaning. Firing pin is working and moving. Would make a good black powder shooter.The stock as near the back of the trigger guard age/stress lines or cracks freo wood drying out , but solid and not open. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
