Very nice New England find this estate Rev. War saber often used by Calvary officers or ships's Captain is in very good condition with the original leather scabbard and all it's brass trim and no breaks . The blade is about 1.240" wide near the guard. And the otal length is about 31 1/4" long, and shows about not corrosion, and no rust . Not over sharoened on a gind stone wheel. Tjhe walnut serrated grip is very good with no missing parts or breaks. Lower edge of the brass guard has a couple dents like an engagement or fight..Overall better than most you will find and has it's original leather scabbard.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
