This is an incredible piece of pistol makers art.
There is no pitting on this magnificent all steel pistol witch engraved beautifully with Scottish thissels.
on one side of the reciver is marked London and on the other side is the makers name
Donald Currie. The hammer is also engraved as a fish with eyes and scales. There is a hammer safety witch functions perfectly, when hammer is cocked the trigger comes down to fire. It is a screw barrel for loading and on the under side of the barrel are the London proof markings. The rams horn butt is beautiful and has the percosion nipel cleaning pick in fantastic condition. Date of mfg I'm gussing 1830's this an 100% original and not a reproduction or copy of any kind.
The workmensship is amazing. These hardly ever come up for sale as they are cocidderd an extremely rare colltable.
