26 inch barrel; both receiver and bolt handle are marked with flaming bomb E proof mark; cartouches in stock; Eagle head inspector mark on both receiver and bolt latch, original sling swivels and barrel bands; barrel is marked 6-18 with flaming bomb and E; 1600 yard rear sight marked with E, bore is shiny throughout with great riflings and clean grooves, excellent overall condition for age; were only made 1917 and 1918 for WWI; a rare piece of US Military history; SN#907428
