Button mag. VG sharp shiny bore. Caliber 45-90 WCF. Original sights include 86 marked folding leaf sight as well as folding tang sight. Pistol grip plain walnut stocks retain a fair amount of original varnish. Usual mars and dings. Rifle style butt plate. Overall metal has turned mostly plum/brown color with sharp corners and good markings. Nice functioning action. Pictured on page 83 of the Madis Winchester handbook. Original and very scarce to see 28 inch half octagon with extra heavy barrel!
