Description:
Colt Single Action Army Colonel Samuel Colt Sesquicentennial Model Revolver. Chambered in .45 Colt it features a 7 ½” barrel with 6 shot cylinder, fitted with two piece rosewood grips with silver Colt medallions. The barrel, ejector rod housing & frame are all finished in high gloss blue while the ejector rod head, cylinder, triggerguard & backstrap are all sliver plated. The left side of barrel marked “1814-COL.SAML COLT SESQUICENTENNIAL MODEL-1964.” The cylinder is marked with COL SAML COLT/1814-1964 & has different engraving around the cylinder. It shows some signs of handeling, with a light cylinder drag line and a scuff on the top of the barrel. Comes in a Walnut case and is lined with a velvet interior, Sesquicentennial medallion, and 12 silver plated dummy cartridges. The top lid has a silver plaque inscribed, “ONE OF 5000/COLONEL SAML COLT/SESQUICENTENNIAL MODELS/1814-1964.”
