Sold to the man in NY// This is one of those commercially made Rock Ridge 1903 A4 Clones…and these are being used in the CMP sniper matches. Brand new barrel and very nice wood. Made the following upgrades: I took the hi-lux copy of the M73 scope off and replaced it with a original Lyman “Alaskan”. It’s a 2.5X scope with the same reticle as used during the war, i.e. the tapered post with the cross wire. (I think this became the M84 when it was adopted late in the war and in time for Korea.) I’ve added a nice 1907 style sling too. And an original 1904A4 checkered butt plate. In the last photo you can see that they properly bedded the action too! It’s a fun gun to shoot and would work well as a hunting rifle too. If you want the M73 copy that I took off…I have it listed on thissite for 200$. You can have them both for $1700. Must ship to an FFL. Credit cards are accepted but we have to charge the 3%.
